It is a technical inventory system implemented at Tettye Forrásház Zrt. (TFH) built on GIS bases. The system manages the technical objects on the TFH service area along with their links. Furthermore, it also contains modules (lab) supporting compliance with directives regulating services. Regarding its contents, the system supports the inventory of technical installations, objects and other equipment supporting services that are operated in order to implement quality water utility services on an integrated alphanumeric and map area as a ready-made product and as a customized solution regarding individual implementation. It provides a solution for making maintenance, renewal and error correction jobs arising in the course of the water public utility service more efficient in their planning-, implementation- and post-implementation change management phases. The system supports the collection of the quality control data of the water public utility service and the inventory of the necessary master data, and it supports the generation of queries and data supply to be set up from them. By this system supporting lab work, the product quality indexes of the service will produce the best possible results in all cases. Among the activities supported by the system you can find the support of the operational activities of the water public utility service as well. Accordingly, the system collects and registers the operation data of the water public utilities broken down by sectors. It enables users to make queries and data supplies relying on these data. The VMTR system has five subsystems whose functionalities users can access via a user interface. The subsystems store the data in a common database so they are accessible to all subsystems in an up-to-date form. The system comprises the following modules: Technical Objects Subsystem: it contains and manages the physical components of the water public utility network on the connection level and their descriptive data. Map subsystem: it contains the network on a map interface with coordinates, along with cable sections and its nodes. For the tasks requiring precise editing, the maintenance staff use modules developed for MAP thick-client editing software. Among others, the compilation of the exclusion plan has also been created here. A publication interface developed for the MapGuide basic software provides possibility for query functions important for a wider range of location-independent users. Maintenance Subsystem: it manages work on the water public utility network. Through a so-called work sheet system, it is able to compile, manage and control responsibilities, resources and material consumption required for the maintenance-, preservation- and error correction tasks from the arising of the task to its completion. Lab Subsystem: Quality must be supervised continuously, in a regulated manner during the water public utility service. This subsystem supports this by means of its functionality. Samples can be examined in an integrated way via the technical objects. The system is prepared to receive input from the instruments necessary for the examinations easily. Reports that contribute to the quality of the service can be retrieved from the system simply and precisely. Production Subsystem: it contains the quantitative data of the service both in case of the water- and in case of the sewage service. The module can be connected to the existing SCADA system by an interface so the data get into the database automatically via the interface. The subsystem supplies data for Water security calculations. |
